My career is very important to me, it challenges me, gives me a sense of accomplishment and best of all, it gives me the opportunity to people.  I truly believe in balancing your life and making sure you prioritize the things that are most important to you — like family and friends.  I am extremely blessed with an incredible family and wonderful friends.

I like to stay active by engaging in various sports and activities like; running, biking and hiking. I do have a competitive side to me so any time I can incorporate exercise into a competition I do — it makes it fun and I challenge myself more. Some of the events I’ve participated in; I’ve ridden 575 miles with the AIDES Lifecycle, competed in two Adventure Races, a Muddy Buddy race, several sprint triathlons, one Relay for Life (running relay from Calistoga to Santa Cruz) and enough 5k fun runs to fill my shirt drawer.

I’d like to think that I am also talented in the kitchen, where I am most known for my pasta dishes and for reasons I’m not exactly sure — my mashed potatoes!  I consider Cooks Illustrated as the bible for cooking and have had the opportunity to test a few recipes before they were published.

On weekends, I like to venture out around the Bay Area to meet new people, see new sites and try new things. During the summer we like to hang out on the lake with our Pontoon and during the winter we head to the mountains for ski/snowboard fun. In general, my life is full, it’s balanced and I am blessed to be surrounded by the people in my life.
